Brush 97-2 arrived and was instructed by Chief 58 to go to work with knocking down the left flank of the fire, Brush 97 went to the right flank, after Brush 97-2 got a knock on the left flank, relocated to the right flank to assist Brush 97 with heavy fire conditions, crews utilized hand lines, a leaf blower, hand tools and vest tanks to stop the right flank from advancing, crews were able to contain the very large area (unknown acres at this time.)
Fire crews from Berks, Montgomery, Bucks and Lehigh all worked together to contain this large fire. Some of those on scene include: Berks 58, 39, 97, 95, 21, 505; Lehigh 19, 66; Montg 65; Bucks 75.
With bulk of fire knocked after 2 hours, crews completed mop up and turned the scene over to DCNR.
