December 24th at 0524 hours, Eastern Berks Fire and Bally Medics were dispatched to the area of Rt 100 and Chestnut Street in Washington Township for a MVA with injuries. The roads were icy from an overnight snowfall.Deputy 97 arrived and advised of a 2 vehicle accident with a patient evaluation and debris down on the roadway.
Fire Personnel assisted with debris cleanup and lighting.
Fire Police diverted traffic for almost 90 minutes until Medics completed their work, debris was cleaned up, Berks Mont Towing removed the vehicles, and PennDOT salted the road.
