On Tuesday April 11 at 0415 hours Boyertown, Eastern Berks and Gilbertsville Fire Departments, along with Boyertown Medics, were dispatched to the report of a house fire on Ironstone Drive, near Funk Rd in Colebrookdale Twp. Crews arrived to heavy fire and smoke and command was established and additional personnel were requested.
EBFD assumed RIT, as well as firefighting operations. Both Tankers supplied water to the scene.
Eastern Berks was on scene for four hours until released.
EBFD apparatus on scene included: Engine 97, Tanker 97, Tanker 97-1, and Utility 97.
