On Tuesday April 11 at 1322 hours, Earl Twp, Eastern Berks and Boyertown Fire, along with Boyertown Medics were dispatched to a shed fire On Philadelphia ave in Earl Twp. First arriving Earl officers reported 2 well involved dwellings and requested a full second alarm along with 5 additional tankers.
Engine 97 arrived and went in service with 2 attack lines.
Rescue/Engine 97 setup a fill site for tankers on Koch road while tankers 97 and 97-1 shuttled water to the scene.
97 units were on scene for 3 hours before being released by command.
This was the second working fire for the day for your area volunteers.
