At 1252 hours on January 6th, the newly-placed-into-service Rescue 97 made its first response as 19, 97, 5 and 505 were dispatched for a CO Alarm with symptoms on Water Street in Pike. Crews found CO levels above normal in the home, and shut down heating systems.
While medics treated the resident, fire crews used fans and natural ventilation to clear the home. Available in an hour. Making the responses from 97 were Rescue 97 and Attack 97.
